She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis H. Welch and Doris G. Welch (Jacenich); and her husband Herbert Bruce Covington. She is survived by: her children, Ronald B. Covington (Kathryn) of Florida and Lynne Covington Kevert of Murrells Inlet; her grandchildren, Raven Lynne Conces and Robert Bruce Trey Hubbard; her great grandchildren, Robert Bruce Mason Hubbard and Riley Lynn Hubbard; her brothers, Ronald Welch and James Paul Jacienich; and also, Wanda Arrington, Anita Renalds, Micki Covington, Phillip Zilonka, Greg, Sue Cannon, Jill Irwin, Joseph Concef and Nicole Hubbard. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
