He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stanley Knauss and Hazel McCutchon Knauss; and his wife Edna Knauss. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Eileen York of Longs, SC, Jo Ann Kruger of Akron, OH, Debra Lee Gilchrest of Aliquippa, PA and Lori Jane Kirby of Port Richey, FL. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren.
