She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Patrick Davis and Janie Cannon Davis of Virginia. She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Ackerman of Mullins; her son Alvah Justin Ackerman II (Marie) of Bremerton, Washington; her grandsons, James Matthew Beasley and Adam Darrell Beasley-Ackerman; and her great grandchildren, Anthony Michael James Beasley and Braylee Meleena Beasley-Villas.
