She was predeceased by : her husband Fred Donald "Pinky" Dowis; her parents, Tom Walker and Sallie Sanders Walker; and her son Donnie Dowis. She is survived by : her daughter Susan Collins; her daughter-in-law Lynda Dowis; and her sisters, Jessie Walker and Emma Jean Walker. She is also survived by five grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
