He is survived by: his children, Scott Smith (Sommer) of Central, Christy Lawless of Norris and Chastity Medlin (Jay) of Pickens; his stepdaughters, Robbie Franks of Anderson and Sheba Smith of Anderson; his grandchildren, Casey Clayton, Elizabeth Clayton, Steven Caddell, Jadyn Medlin, Anthony Caddell, Chase Smith, Caitlin Smith, Emma Norris, Brandy Fowler, Alexis Franks, Brandon Franks, Tyler Meadows and Kailee Meadows; his siblings, Charlie Smith of Seneca, Shirley Eller of Salem, Mary Ann Veal of Walhalla and Polly McJunkin of Westminster; and his friend Rita Goss. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
