She was predeceased by: her husband Milton Clyde Burgess; her parents, J. B. Gilstrap and Annie Stewart Gilstrap; and her brothers, David, Herbert, Herman "Pete" and Joe Gilstrap.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Beacham (Billy) of Norris and Crystal Long (Billy) of Greenville; her grandchildren, Bobby Long, Colt Beacham and Autumn Long; and her siblings, Sammie Gilstrap of Pickens and Martha Gibson of Walhalla.
