She was predeceased by: her spouse George B. Lamar. She is survived by: her children, George Lamar, Jr (Rozanne), David Paul Lamar (Frances), John Lamar (Cathy), Philip Lamar (Sharon), Karen Ann Thomas (Denis) and Sarah Hickman (Mark); and her sister Catherine Hudson. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Augusta Care Pregnancy Center, 1298 1/2 Broad St Augusta, GA 30901 or Curtis Baptist Church, 1348 Broad St Augusta, GA 30901.
