He is survived by: his wife Betty Hutto Mitchell; his sons, Auren H. Mitchell, III (Rhonda) and Dorsey B. Mitchell; his nieces, Connie F. Black (Charles) and Donna K. Martin; his grandchildren, April M. Flowers (Ed), Stayci M. Logue (Russell), Shannon M. Dukes (Ryan), Auren S. Mitchell and Jennifer A. Hollar; and his great grandchildren, Blake Logue, Jaxon Flowers, Jordan Flowers, Hunter A. Mitchell, Brennan Logue, Thea Flowers, Maddox Dukes and Walker Dukes.
