He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Lydia Simons (Hovis); and his wife Mary Jo Simons. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Brack (George) of North Augusta, William Simons (Laura) of San Diego and Bernie Simons (Debbie) of San Diego, California; and his grandchildren, Lillian Simons, Victoria Simons, Jordan Brack, Tammi Hampton and Gina Morris.
In keeping with Federal Mandates due to COVID-19 Pandemic, the number of people allowed at the service is 10 and everyone in attendance must wear a mask.
