He was predeceased by: his son Edward Lester Duncan; his parent Juanita Duncan; and his siblings, Robert Duncan, Jerry Duncan and Janice Tager.
He is survived by: his spouse Dale Duncan; his children, Daniel L. Duncan, Jr. (Angela) and Kathy L. Johnson (Larry); his sisters, Mary Byars, Betty Ann Phillips, Kathleen Kelsey (Mike), Lois Duncan and Margaret Mitchum; his grandchildren, Sellece, Shanna Harrell, Chloe, Carley and Carson Duncan; and his great grandchild Christian Harrell.
