He is survived by: his wife Carol Kay (Alexander) of North Augusta; his daughter Sharon Denise Rose; his son-in-law Jeffrey William Rose of Laguna Niguel, California.; his son Ryan Lance Murphree; his daughter-in-law Abbeygail (Carpenter) of Lexington; his brother Larry Lance Murphree (Sue) of St. Augustine Florida; and his brother-in-law Kenneth Alexander (Donna) of North Augusta.
