He was predeceased by: his stepfather Menford "Bo" Simpson; and his grandmother Juanita Fisher. He is survived by: his parents, Bruce R. Maxfield (Carol) and Sandra D. Fisher; his siblings, Kevin Maxfield (Kelly), Brett Maxfield (Nina) and Sarah Berry; his stepsister Susie Sweet; his nieces and nephews, Michael, Jonathan, Hannah, Emma, Wyatt, Ethan, Sylvia, Nolan, Norielle, Lily and Gavin; his grandmother June Dodge; his stepgrandmother Diana Maxfield; and his daughter Persephone. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family has set up a GoFundMe page under Dylan's Journey to raise money to fund scholarships for those pursuing music, and for other causes meaningful to him.
