He was predeceased by: his spouse Mary D. Vignati. He is survived by: his children, Joseph E. Vignati, Jr. (Rita) of Hilton Head, Chuck L. Vignati of North Augusta, Kathy V. Heistand of Trenton and Vicky V. Chason (Charles) of North Augusta. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and a number of great and great great grandchildren.
