With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lila Freeland of North Augusta, South Carolina, born in Cordele, Georgia, who passed away on November 8, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Whitt Puckett and Gracie Herndon Puckett; her husband Brown B. Freeland, Jr.; her siblings, Jean P. Hill and Hugh D. Puckett; and her son-in-law Gary Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Don Freeland of North Augusta, DeLisa F. Johnson, Dana F. Harmon of North Augusta and Diane F. Givens (Tim) of Williston, SC; her brother Hoyt Puckett (Darlene) of Musella, GA; and her sister-in-law Vickie Puckett of Musella, GA.. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
