He was predeceased by: his father J. D. Bussey. He is survived by: his wife Alma Williams Bussey; his daughters, Michele Smith (James) and Janet Vaughan Barlow (Lloyd); his sister Susan Cheves (Henry Cheves); his grandchildren, Courtney Johnson (Shandon) and Travis Vaughan; and his great grandchildren, Celynn and Everly Johnson.
