With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sarah Rogers Turner of Marion, South Carolina, born in Georgetown, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 31, 2025 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlton Aubrey Rogers and Edna Byrd Rogers; her son Mitchell Alan Turner; her son-in-law Chris Christy; and her siblings, Louise Rogers Spivey and Robert E. Rogers.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Turner Ridenour (Tom), Joan Turner Hughes (Danny), Allison Turner Christy and Gary Turner (Michele); and her daughter-in-law Amanda Turner. She is also survived by seven granddaughters; and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. M. Ford Funeral Directors (637 W Martintown Rd, North Augusta, SC 29841). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the J. M. Ford Funeral Chapel (637 W Martintown Rd, North Augusta, SC 29841).
