Zona Irene Frazier Briggs Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Zona Irene Frazier Briggs of North Augusta, South Carolina, born in Woodlawn, Virginia, who passed away on November 9, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Strader Frazier and Martha Davidson Frazier; her husband John Carl Briggs; and her siblings, Adeen Sumner, Dorothy Utt, Dale Frazier and Grace Smythers.

She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Criss (Ricky) of North Augusta, SC and Philip (Sabrina) of Chesapeake, OH; her grandchildren, Trista Briggs of South Point, OH, Jacob Criss (Tess) of Augusta, GA and Holly Criss of Pooler, GA; her great grandchildren, Melodie, Ella and Maya Briggs of South Point, OH; her siblings, Lloyd Frazier (Edna) of Cleveland, TN, Kyle Frazier (Katherine) of Austinville, VA, Herbert Frazier (Jewell) of Cleveland, TN, Edith Frazier of Woodlawn, VA, Fern Hanks of Woodlawn, VA and Glenna Winesett (Dean) of Woodlawn, VA; her siblings-in-law, Nora Frazier of Woodlawn, VA, Florence Collins of Salem, VA, Myrtle Briggs of Roanoke, VA, Dot Briggs of Glade Springs, VA, Linda Briggs of Marion, VA, Jackie Briggs (Joann) of Waynesboro, VA, Roger McGlocklin of Hillsville, VA and Ronald Thomas of Dallas, NC; and also Zona. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
