It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Drawdy Mouzon (North Charleston, South Carolina), who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas and Lois S. Drawdy; her brother Thomas Drawdy; and her son Anthony (Marsha). She is survived by: her grandchild Jerrod; her children, Megan, Aaron and Matthew (Susan); her grandchildren, Jennifer and Christopher; her child Thomas S.; her grandchild Casey Gladstone; her child DeLisa M. Reynolds of North Charleston; her grandchildren, Kevin, Jess, Lois, David Knauff and Raymond Thomas; and also, Dorothy and John Drawdy.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel (2180 Greenridge Rd, North Charleston, SC 29406). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the North Charleston United Methodist Church (1125 E Montague Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405). A burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Carolina Memorial Gardens (7113 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29406).
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to North Charleston United Methodist or St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
