She was predeceased by: her husband James Thomas Midyette; her parents, Alfred Clayton Smith and Margaret Worsham Smith; and her siblings, Earl, Peggy and Joyce.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa M Byers (John) of Waverly; and her grandsons, Brandon Byers (Megan) and Michael Byers (Alexandria). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
