In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Ricky leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Ricky may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Simmons and Brownie Simmons; and his brother Lamont Simmons. He is survived by: his son Ricky Simmons; his sisters, Loretta Lovell (Dave) and Regina Hall (Ron); his sister-in-law Gail Simmons; his aunts and uncles, Ruth Williams, Ruby Williams, Leon Williams and Peter Holman; and his cousin Steven Williams. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ollie M. Dickerson Memorial Chapel (4700 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405).
