It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cecil Jackson Frierson of Olanta, South Carolina, born in Kingstree, South Carolina, who passed away on October 20, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Cecil Frierson and Christine King Frierson; and his brothers, Richard Frierson and Leslie Frierson. He is survived by : his wife Jeanette Frierson; his children, Barrie J. Frierson of Kingstree and Sara Frierson of Columbia; his sisters-in-law, Sheryl McKenzie (Earl) of Rock Hill and Kay Frierson of Kingstree; and his nieces and nephews, Dawn Ivey (Jim), Misty Foster, Chad Frierson (Natalie), Zach Frierson (Tara), Sabrina Singletary (Jason), Angela Williams (Chris), Bridget Tinker (Michael) and Shannon Shirley (Matt).
