He is survived by: his wife Susan Pate Welch of Scranton; his children, April Welch Pawlak (Jeff) and Marion Welch, Jr. (Karen) of Kannapolis, N. C.; his brothers, Gareth Welch (Shelby) of McDavid, FL. and R. J. Welch (Pat) of Summerville, S. C.; and his grandchildren, David Pawlak, Sophie Pawlak and Andrew Welch.
