We are sad to announce that on May 22, 2025, Chester J. Tomson Jr. of Orangeburg, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester J Tomson, Sr. and Gertrude Henger; and his sisters, Beverly Tomson of Asbury and Patricia Hinds of Leonardo. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Murray Tomson; his sons, Chester J Tomson, III (Beverly) and Michael D. Tomson (Carla); his grandchildren, Michael D. Tomson, II, Sarah R. Tomson and Samantha G. Tomson; and his friends, Don and Betty Myers of Pinehurst. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Orangeburg's Angel Tree program, 1240 Russell Street, Orangeburg, SC 29115.
