He was predeceased by : his parents, Artie O. Knight, Sr. and Hazel Knight; and his son Artie O. Knight III. He is survived by : his wife Elinor Hilton Griffith of Orangeburg, SC; his son Russell Knight (Jim Masek) of Rutherfordton, NC; his grandsons, Hilton Knight (Ashley) of Conway, SC and Ethan Knight (Jennings) of Greenville, SC; his great grandchild Whitley Knight of Conway, SC; his daughter-in-law Barbara Hawkins (Rick) of Green Pond, SC; his siblings, Gloria Sohm (Howard) of Holly Hill, SC, Kirby Knight (Jeannie) of Harleyville, SC and Richard Knight (Brenda) of Aynor, SC; and his sons, Alonso Cuellar and Steven Ford of Columbia, SC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family asks that attendees follow standard Covid-19 protocols by practicing social distancing to the extent possible and wearing masks during the service and visitation.
