She was predeceased by: her parents, Leafus Cheeseboro and Jannie Cheeseboro; and her sisters, Hattie Blacks and Jossie Keitt. She is survived by: her children, Lynn J. Mapp, Drexell Johnson (Carlenia) and Dakota Ross Johnson (Marjorie); her grandchildren, Rashaad Current, Ashley Miley and Donovan Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Rashaad Current Jr. and Rashawn Current (Sade). She is also survived by nieces and nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Al Jenkins Funeral Home (2396 Russell St, Orangeburg, SC 29115). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Olive Grove Missionary Baptist Church (305 Old Elloree Rd, Orangeburg, SC 29115).
