Zimmerman (Carol) of Ashbury Park and Leroy Zimmerman (Alice) of Cumming, Georgia; his siblings' children, Reinell Thomas-Myers (Jerome) of Charlotte, Teresa Elmore Wilks of Orangeburg, James Elmore Jr. (Gloria) of Orangeburg, Marvin Keitt of Orangeburg, Vincent Keitt of Brooklyn, Lamont Zimmerman of Brooklyn and Rodney Zimmerman of Atlanta, Geogia; and his brother-in-law Gilbert Taylor of Columbia.
Upon retirement from the Foundation, Sonny and Dorothy relocated to Manning, South Carolina in 1996.
