She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Talberg Wadford and Annie Mae Bair Wadford; her granddaughters, Victoria Burns and Anna Burns; and her sister Barbara Mixson.
She is survived by: her husband Theron "Mike" Polin; her sons, Julius Weyland Burns, Jr., Jeffrey Wadford Burns and James Weldon Burns; and her grandchildren, Trey Burns, David Burns, James Burns and Jessica Burns.
