He is survived by: his wife Sara "Penny" Moore Salley; his children, Michael Gramling "Gram" Salley, III and Sara S. Ardis (Charlton); his brothers, Leonard Salley (Lynda) and Mackay Salley (Eleanor); his cousin Dr. Lawton Salley; and his grandchildren, Emily Ardis, Garrick Ardis and Zakk Salley.
