With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William McLain Whisenhunt of Orangeburg, South Carolina, who passed away on September 3, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Whisenhunt and Evelyn Horger Whisenhunt. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Whisenhunt; his children, Craig Whisenhunt of Orangeburg, Kelly Hayden (Eric) of Cope and Shelly Barber (Brandon) of Seneca; his siblings, Andy Whisenhunt (Connie) of Orangeburg, Larry Whisenhunt (Lynn) of Bamberg and Rene Dunn of Cordova; and his grandchildren, Cassie, Nathan, Copeland, Noah, Eli, Easton Hayden, Sage and Rize Barber. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

CDC guidelines for the COVID-19 virus and social distancing will be observed during the service. All attendees will be required to wear a mask.
