She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Edwin Hancock and Bessie Collins Hancock; and her husband Hubert M. Sims. She is survived by: her nephews, Marion Sims (Sharon) of Cleveland, NC, Johnny Sims (Martha) of Pageland, SC and Phillip Sims (Laura) of Waxhaw, NC.
