He is survived by: his parent Mary Gooden; his children, Michael Gooden of Dayton, Kenny Gooden of Woodlawn, Myra Faulkenberry of Pageland, Gidget Talley of Dothan and Ginnell Gooden of Cincinnati, Ohio; and his siblings, Shelby Whitaker of Chesterfield, Ray Gooden of Ona, W. V and Jerry Gooden of La. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
