Katherine Agnes Thaxton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2021, at the age of 98, Katherine Agnes Thaxton of Pageland, South Carolina, born in Jefferson, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Henry Douglass, Sr. and Agnes Goza Douglass; her husband Calvin L. Thaxton, Sr.; and her son James D. Thaxton. She is survived by: her son Cal Thaxton (Alice); her grandchildren, Trey Thaxton and Alice Curtin Thaxton; her son William Thaxton (Janice); her great grandchildren, Milyn McFadden, Hadley Davis and Mabel Davis; her daughter-in-law Karen Thaxton; her granddaughters, Emily Thaxton Otting (Josh) and Katherine Thaxton Stogner; and her great grandchildren, Preston Otting, Claire Otting, Thaxton Stogner and Sadie Stogner.
Due to COVID 19, the family asks that everyone that attends the service to please wear a mask and keep in mind social distancing rules.
