He was predeceased by: his parents, James Luther Moree Sr. and Lena McManus Moree; his siblings, Elizabeth Wright, Mary Plyler, J. W. Moree and James Pete Moree; and his grandchildren, Lil Tonya Moree and Baby Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda "Sue" Knight Moree; his children, Barry Moree (Tonya) of Pageland, SC, Larry Moree (Mavis) of Polkton and Pamela Baker (Roger) of Jefferson, SC; his sisters, Rose Plyler of Lancaster, SC and Marcine Sowell of Lancaster, SC; his grandchildren, Reynaldo Culp, Malasha Moree, Deja Melton (Markee), Gracie Moree, Abbey Moree and Jacob Moree; and his great grandchildren, Gabriella Heath, Uzziah Seegars and Royal Melton (David Deese).
