It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nannie Geiger Arant Hammond of Pageland, South Carolina, born in Jefferson, South Carolina, who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph W. Geiger and Mattie Hayes Geiger; her former husband Curtis Arant; her husband Robert Hammond; and her son Jeffery Warren Arant.
She is survived by: her children, Freddie Arant (Nancy) of Pageland, SC, Lynn Arant of Lancaster, SC, Robert Hammond (Kim) of Greenville, SC, Russell Rusty Hammond (Mitzi) of Newport, NC, Mary Arant of Lancaster, SC, Brenda Arant (Bobby Moseley) of Pageland, SC and Julia Arant Waits of Lancaster, SC; and her sister Thelma Melton of Jefferson, SC. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
