She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Short and Minnie Short; her siblings, Richard Short, Edna Vorhies and Veva Vorhies; her husbands, James E. Curran and Homer Russell Meeker; her sons, James L. Curran and Robert "Bobby" Curran; her grandsons, Robert Bryan Curran and David H. Podschweit; and her great grandchild Addison Karkut.
She is survived by: her daughters, Chris Meeker of Phoenix, Arizona, David Curran of Yorkville and Ed Curran (Pauline) of Aurora; and her stepchildren, Jill DeVilder of Auburndale, Maine, Rae Woods (Herman Leatherman) of Hartsville, Marilyn Bowe of Pageland, Margaret Podschweit of Hartsville and Connie Ware of Hot Springs. She is also survived by 45 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren and a sister.
