With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert H. Griffith of Pageland, South Carolina, born in Jefferson, South Carolina, who passed away on November 25, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edwin Griffith, Sr. and Ora Mae Herlong Griffith; his son Robert Allison Griffith; and his brothers, William Edwin Griffith, Jr. and Richard Benson Griffith.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Dalrymple Griffith; his sons, Richard J. "Dick" Griffith (Ellen) of Chesterfield, SC and Russell W. Griffith (Laura) of Fairfield, CT; his daughter-in-law Melanie Griffith (Eric Boykin) of Chesterfield, SC; his grandchildren, Daniel Griffith (Victoria), Dee Griffith, Haley Griffith, Abigail Griffith, Madison Griffith, Sarah Griffith and Emily Griffith; his stepgrandchildren, Shelly Catoe and Jared White; and his great grandchildren, Riley Stephan, Jadelyn Griffith and RJ Griffith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
