He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Carroll Deason and Betty Lou Greene Deason; and his grandparents, Ellis, Madge Greene, Raymond, Annie Montgomery and Clayton Deason.
He is survived by: his sisters, Gwendolyn Yvonne Deason (Jimmy Watts) of Pageland, SC, Freda Annette Helms of Pageland, SC and Greta Lynn Funderburk (Eddie) of Jefferson, SC; his half-siblings, Josh Deason (Brittany) of Monroe, NC and Lauren Deason (David) of Florida; his uncles, Roger Greene of Pageland, SC and Tony Deason (Terry) of Monroe, NC; and his aunt Joyce Deason of Stallings, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
