She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Randel Lee "Cotton" Deese; her cousin Shirley Johnson; her grandparents, P. A. Hendrix and Robert Owens; her children, Toby Deese of Pageland, SC and Courtney Laughlin (Greg) of Myrtle Beach, SC; her granddaughter Alia Laughlin; her parents, Rick Hendrix and Bonnie Hendrix; her brother Joey Hendrix (Pat); and her mother-in-law Betty Wilbanks of Pageland, SC.
