He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Edd Poston, Sr. and Rhoda McConnie Richardson Poston; his siblings, Betty Elizabeth "Lib" Poston Prosser, Frances Eleanor Poston Stone and Harry Poston; and his brothers-in-law, H. A. Morris and Errol Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Wise Poston of Hannah Community; his children, Ricky Poston (Wanda) and Robyn Ard (Sammy); his grandchildren, Bradley Ard (Jennifer), Katelyn Ard Baldwin (Scott), Brent Poston (Jill), Lydia Springs and Amy Springs; his great grandchildren, Gavin Ard, Braylee Poston, Jacob Poston, Leni Ard, Sammie Jean Baldwin, Blakely Nichole Baldwin, Caroline Coleman, Carson Coleman, Addison Logan and Ava Ray Riley; his sisters, Patsy Poston Morris and Peggy Poston Cox; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Poston Hodge and Willie Joe Stone.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church (4221 Sheminally Rd, Pamplico, SC 29583). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
