With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rachel Benton (Pamplico, South Carolina), born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on November 20, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Newton Benton; her parents, Ervin Carmichael Creel, Sr. and Flossie Prosser Creel; and her siblings, Frances Creel West, Ellaveen Creel Mashburn, Merrilyn Creel Love and Ervin Carmichael Creel, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Thomas E. "Tommy" Benton (Charlene) of Pamplico, Russell A. "Russ" Benton (Teresa) of Pamplico and Rebecca K. "Becky" Benton of Simpsonville; her grandchildren, Brad Benton (Neely), Brian Benton (Stacey), Candice Hill (Brandon), Whitney Aguilar (Randy) and Lauren Stanton (Cody); and her great grandchildren, Thomas, John William, Mac Benton, Raylan, Rachel Hill, Turner Benton, Sydney, Kinsley Aguilar, Kesler and Brantley Stanton.
