He was predeceased by: his parents, Milo Greimann and Burnice Greimann (Petheram); his siblings, Lois Mayne and Edward; and his father-in-law Harold Joe James.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Greimann of Pawleys Island; his daughters, Jaclyn Greimann of Philadelphia and Leslie Schulte (Adam) of Omaha, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Milo, Bastian and Amelia Schulte of Omaha, Nebraska; his brother Don (Alice) of Hampton, Iowa; his mother-in-law Bonnie James of Monona, Iowa; and his sister-in-law Brenda James (Greg) of West Union. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
