He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Carl "Dock" Hanser and Esther Bauer Hanser McKenzie; and his sister Shirley Hanser Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Alice Lambert Hanser of Pawleys Island; his children, Geneva Alice Hanser McKenzie (Steven) of Pawleys Island, Herman Henry Hanser, Jr. (Lisa) of Andrews, Patrice Michelle Hanser Howell of Myrtle Beach and Heath Hawkins Hanser of Pawleys Island; his grandchildren, Crystal Nichole McKenzie of Murrells Inlet, Ashley Danielle McKenzie of Murrells Inlet, Savanna Dallas McKenzie of Pawleys Island, Donnie Parsons (Buffy) of Georgetown, Chris Parsons of Andrews and Brad Parsons (Kellie) of Georgetown; and his siblings, Irene Lambert (Elbert) of Andrews, Rudolph Carl Hanser, Jr. (Betty Jo) of Andrews and Robert Dock Hanser (Joyce) of Andrews. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
