She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edgar and Ramona Dietzel McDonald of Winnsboro, SC.; her husband Arthur Herbert "Doc" Lachicotte, Jr.; and her daughter Louise Lachicotte. She is survived by: her daughters, Cecile L. Spivey (Steve) and Virginia L. Aimar (Charles); her grandchildren, Daniel Spivey (Caroline), Lauren Spivey, Adam Lachicotte, Charles Aimar and Margaret Aimar; her great grandchild Gibson Spivey; her brother Charles E. McDonald, Jr. (Pat); her sibling's children, Charles McDonald (Laurin), Jack McDonald, Lewis Middleton (Cathie), Julia Royall (John) and Rebecca Blanton (Mike); and her caregivers, Linda Boulanger and Carolyn Ford.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pawleys Island (46 Gathering Ln, Pawleys Island, SC 29585). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the All Saints Church Cemetery (3560 Kings River Rd, Pawleys Island, SC 29585).
