With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mayor Roger Scott Sr. (Pelzer, South Carolina), who passed away on March 13, 2020 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Scott and Hester Elizabeth Reese Calvert; and his brother Bobby Joe Scott. He is survived by: his wife Karen Jordan Scott; his children, Cindy Whitlock (Tony) of Iva and Roger Scott, Jr. (Tonya) of Williamston; his brother Steve Scott (Mandy) of Pelzer; and his grandchildren, Jordan Smith (Kristy), Brett Whitlock (Savannah), Koti Keown (Justin), Megan Scott, Skylar Scott, Hunter Ragsdale and Haley Ragsdale. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
