We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2021, at the age of 92, Cathryn Merrill of Pickens, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Alvin Elem Merrill; and her parents, Paul S. Hamby Sr. and Evelyn Ora Rhodes. She is survived by : her daughters, Beverly Merrill Baker (Eddie) of Columbia, SC and Kathryn Merrill Gilstrap of Pickens; her grandchildren, Michael Andrew Baker (Jessica) of Easley, Gina Baker Reeves of Columbia and Jennifer Gilstrap Peery (Elliott) of Charleston, SC; her great grandchildren, Katelyn M. Baker of Easley, Camden G. Baker of Easley, Ryan Hannah Reeves of Columbia, Elliott Lebaron Peery Jr. of Charleston and Baby Girl Peery; and her siblings-in-law, Doris P. Hamby and Albert N. Merrill. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
