He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Howard Downing and Eva Lucille Pratt Downing. He is survived by : his significant other Cindy Briggs of Pickens; his daughters, Yvonne Mounkhoune of Austin, TX and Alicia Nerad of Mint Hill, NC; his grandchildren, Lauren Haffner, Austin Garton, Greyson Garton, Mykala Garton and Maren Garton; and his nephew David Glorius.
