She was predeceased by: her husband George M. Lovinggood; her parents, Rev. Norman J. Newton and Mildred Black Newton; her daughter Debra Marie "Debbie" Harris; and her brother Wayne Eugene Newton.
She is survived by: her son James Lee "Jim" Lovinggood (Denise) of Pendleton; her son-in-law Marty Harris of Pickens; her grandchildren, Wes Hiott (Lindsey), Josh Hiott, Brett Harris, Nicole Meares (Brandon) and Jonathan Lovinggood (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Eva Hiott, Hadley Hiott, Hayes Hiott, Will Meares, Leah Meares and Harper Lovinggood; and her brothers, Daniel "Danny" Newton (Sheila) and Pat Maxwell. She is also survived by her family, friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mountain View Funerals and Cremations - Pickens Chapel (105 Florence St, Pickens, SC 29671).
