David Thurmond Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2020, at the age of 58, David Thurmond of Piedmont, South Carolina, born in Athens, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Guy Julius Thurmond, III and Elizabeth Janet Bearden Thurmond; his sisters, Janice Thurmond Higdon (Bill) of Franklin, TN and Julie Thurmond Offutt (David) of Athens, TN; his uncles, Richard Baldwin Thurmond (Pat) of Virginia Beach, VA and Jim Bearden (Carrie) of Alpharetta, GA; and his aunt Mary Bearden Eaton (Frank) of Madison, GA. He is also survived by fourteen nieces and nephews; and six great-nieces and nephews.
