George Henry Lourigan Obituary
The passing of George Henry Lourigan in Piedmont, South Carolina, born in Kenosha, Wisconsin leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 3, 2025 at the age of 93. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Boerner Lourigan; his parents, Joseph Lourigan and Margaret Lourigan; and his siblings, Dolores Lourigan Olson (Don), Rosemary Lourigan Gentz (Carl), Joseph Lourigan, Ronald Lourigan (Karen) and Gerald Lourigan (Mary).
He is survived by: his children, Margie Blair, George Lourigan (Kimi), Kathy Fairfax (Jeff), Pat Lourigan (Doris), Mary Mueller (Dirk), Ken Halton and Chris Widlund (Eben). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home (700 Heckle Blvd, Rock Hill, SC 29730). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Anne Catholic Church (1698 Bird St, Rock Hill, SC 29730). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Anne Catholic Church (1756 Shytle Ln, York, SC 29745).
