He was predeceased by : his parents, Carroll Brooks Alewine, Sr. and Ada Rebecca Dominick Alewine. He is survived by : his wife Joanna Alewine; his children, Timothy Alewine (Jennifer) and Tina Alewine of Pomaria; his granddaughters, Kaitlyn Alewine and Alyssa Alewine; his brother Jerry W. Alewine (Janet); his stepchildren, Richard Colello, Jr. (Melissa) and Mary Ann Brown (Scott); and his stepgrandchildren, Owen Shimel, Gabriella Rose Gallina and Francesca Rose Gallina.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Church Cemetery (516 Church St, Little Mountain, SC 29075).
